NOTICE OF DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY FOR DIRECTORS

TRUCKEE-CARSON IRRIGATION DISTRICT

Notice is herby given that beginning at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2010 and continuing until the hour of 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2010, filing will be open for candidates for Directors of the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District.  Declaration of candidacy may be declared at the District’s office, 2666 Harrigan Rd. , Fallon , Nevada and must be accompanied by a $25.00 filing fee.  

The following Districts are open for Board Candidacy.  The only requirements are you must live inside the District you are running for and own water rights.

                        Division No. 3                          Bob Oakden
                        Division No. 5                          Larry Miller
                        Division No. 6                          Ernest Schank
                        Division No. 7                          Lester deBraga

 Further notice is herby given that registration for said election is now open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the office of the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District, 2666 Harrigan Rd. , Fallon , Nevada .  Electors may register from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010

 If you have changed the status of your property, that could effect your registration.  If you are unsure of the district you live in please call the office at 423-2141 or 575-2211 and we let you now what your district is.

Registration for said election will close at 4:00p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2010
